29,711 New Nurses

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced the number of passers of the last Nurse Licensure Exam on December 2010. The number of passers was 29,711 out of the 84,287 hopefuls who took the exam. 

Those who will register at the PRC are required to bring a duly accomplished Oath Form, current Community Tax Certificate, two passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), one 1”x1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps, and one short brown envelope with name and profession. Those who will register will also have to pay the initial registration fee of P600 and annual registration fee of P450 for 2011-2014. Registration should be done personally for the successful examinee to be able to sign in the Roster of Registered Profesionals.

The oath taking ceremony of successful examinees in Manila will be held before the board on March 14 and 15, 2011, with morning (8 a.m.) and afternoon (1 p.m.) at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City. Required attire is the white gala uniform, nurse’s cap, white duty shoes, without earrings, hair not touching the collar and without corsage.

Tickets are available for those in the National Capital Region (NCR) and nearby regions at 1663, Benitez Street, Malate, Manila from February 28, 2011 on a “first come first served” basis. Before buying the ticket, successful examinees must log-on to www.nurseoathtaking.net for an online prioritynumber. “No Online Priority Slip, No access to tickets”.
